We've discovered a lot of
people are timid and hesitant towards the refinance
process
simply because most do not know what to expect.
With this in mind, we make it a top priority to keep all
of our customers informed of what’s taking place.
Once you complete your
application and we look over your credit, we will contact
you to set up a brief 10 minute meeting. During this
meeting, we will go over the necessary California
Disclosures (RESPA) and confirm your refinance or
purchase goals. In
order to provide the best service possible we try to meet
all of our clients in person, but this can be done by
phone and fax if necessary.
Following this initial meeting, the next step will be to
order a Preliminary Title Report and Appraisal. This is
done to ensure both chain of title and to establish the
current market value of your property. Typically, the
preliminary title report takes 2-3 working days to get
back, while the appraisal takes about 4-5 days from the
time it is ordered.
While waiting for your Title Report/Appraisal, we will be
preparing your file for submission to the bank. Once
prepared and ready to go, we'll submit your file to the
underwriters at the bank. After reviewed, the
underwriters will get back to me with any conditions
necessary to get your loan documents.
Once you have signed your loan documents, it typically
takes 3 days for the bank to fund your loan.
